The season when the fresh green is beautiful. I decided to go to the mountain stream this time because I wanted to be surrounded by bright green and clear water, fresh air and negative ions. However, it is difficult to collect information when it comes to the mountain stream that you are heading for the first time, and for those who want to start mountain stream fishing in combination with trekking and camping, the threshold may be quite high. Isn't it?

Big catch prayer

Drive on the highway and head toward Kozagawa-cho with the coastline of Mie prefecture on the side. This area is a sacred area known for visiting Kumano, so I decided to visit Kumano Hayatama Taisha when I entered Shingu City, Wakayama Prefecture, in order to pray for the safety of this trip and a big catch. Kumano Hayatama Taisha is a large shrine that constitutes Kumano Sanzan together with Kumano Hongu Taisha and Kumano Nachi Taisha. Passing through the Otorii, a 1000-year-old Nagi tree, which is designated as a natural monument, welcomes worshipers. Put your hands on this Nagi tree that Taira no Shigemori planted and go to the main shrine.
We visited the main shrine, which was decorated with large shimenawa, to ensure the safety of this trip and to receive energy from the fresh greenery, clear streams, and fish.
